What's special about 1.7i s?
No enclosure, no cones, no problem! In fact, the simpler quasi-ribbon panel yields a purer, cleaner, faster, and more organic sound. Smaller MMG and .7 although nice and affordable, don't possess the same powerful presentation of the 1.7i s. If your room and electronics can accommodate, it's impossible to not fall in love with these speakers.
